Sensational Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti to perform in Budapest!

World-renowned Italian singer-songwriter Eros Ramazzotti will return to Budapest next spring for a live concert. As part of his global Una Storia Importante tour, the artist is set to take the stage at the MVM Dome in April.

According to the event’s organiser, Koncertpromo, the tour is a celebration of the deep connection between Ramazzotti and his audience — a bond that transcends time, borders, and generations.

The 61-year-old performer has sold over 80 million records throughout his nearly four-decade career, and his music has been streamed more than 9 billion times worldwide. Born in Rome, Ramazzotti rose to fame after winning the newcomers’ category at the Sanremo Music Festival in 1984. Just two years later, he claimed victory in the main competition with his song Adesso tu.

He became an international star in 1990 when his album In ogni senso achieved massive success in Germany, Spain, and Switzerland — and even caught the attention of audiences in the United States. In 1995, he signed with record label BMG.

His 1997 album Eros featured collaborations with Andrea Bocelli and Tina Turner. The duet Cose della vita with Turner became a global hit. Over the years, he has also performed alongside Cher, Anastacia, Luciano Pavarotti, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ricky Martin.

His 2003 album 9 topped the Italian sales charts for 15 weeks and remained in the Top 100 for an impressive 95 weeks. His most recent studio album, Battito Infinito, was released in 2022.

Ramazzotti has performed in Hungary five times so far: in 2009, 2013, 2016, 2019, and most recently in 2023 — all at the Budapest Sportaréna. The upcoming 19 April 2026 concert will mark his first appearance at the MVM Dome.
